About Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral palsy describes a set of neurological conditions that affect the brain and nervous
system, causing difficulties with movement, posture and co-ordination.
Cerebral palsy is caused by damage to the brain which normally occurs before, during or soon after birth.
The symptoms usually become apparent by the age of three.
