The Programme Board

The Better Healthcare Programme Board is chaired by Sumit Biswas, a non-executive director of the PCT Board, and will be accountable to the PCT Board.

The Better Healthcare Programme Board is accountable for:

  • delivery of the overall programme within agreed timescales;
  • ensuring the principles of the programme are upheld (such as openness and transparency and public and stakeholder involvement);
  • ensuring the key considerations are taken into account (such as access, safety and future health needs).

Members of the Programme Board include representatives from:

  • Cherwell District Council
  • West Oxfordshire District Council
  • Oxfordshire County Council
  • South Northamptonshire Council
  • Local Involvement Networks (LINks)
  • local GP from the North Oxfordshire Practice Based Commissioning Consortia
  • Northamptonshire Teaching PCT
  • Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust
  • The Chair of the Community Partnership Forum
  • The Oxford Deanery Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education

 

Meetings of the Programme Board take place in public and papers are made available from this website or directly from the PCT.

Meetings are held in Banbury and take place bi-monthly.
