Welfare rights advisors are based at some GP practices in Oxfordshire and run sessions providing benefits advice. Patients can also access the full Citizens Advice Service Bureau (CAB) service for advice on employment matters, debt and housing, when required. Home visits can also be made when clients find visiting the surgery or CAB difficult.
Patients can either refer themselves or can be referred to the scheme by staff at the practice.
