Training & Development

NHS Oxfordshire recognises the central role education, training and development plays in supporting good practice, and delivering safe and effective care whilst considering the development needs of all individuals.

All staff are encouraged to have annual Appraisals / Personal Development Reviews, to ensure that their personal training and development needs are identified so that they are supported in being effective in their role. Staff are invited to apply to the Education and Training Group for funding to attend courses / training, and may also have access to NVQ funding and NHS Learning Accounts, which may help with individual development.
