Trust Board
NHS Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Board is responsible for the overall performance of the cluster. Primarily it ensures that the cluster complies with national direction, probity, setting and attaining local objectives and achieving financial balance.
The Board is the ultimate decision making body within the NHS Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire cluster.
Trust Board Remit
The Board is responsible for:
- Representing the interests of local people
- Overall strategy and direction
- The Local Delivery Plan and major investment decisions
- Financial and risk management
- Corporate governance and policies (e.g. human resources)
- Underpinning strategies (e.g. Information Management & Technology, Improving Working Lives)
- Ultimate responsibility for everything that the cluster does
- Ensuring financial balance
The Board's objectives are to direct the organisation and oversee its responsible governance.
Its key objectives are:
- Ensuring strategic direction
- Monitoring corporate performance and specifying improvements
- Meeting legal responsibilities
- Ensuring good Board performance.
